So, this is my first blog post from my first blog ever! I have to say, this is super exciting. Anyway, my name is Grace, and I love to cook, bake, be creative, and take pictures. I'll be sharing any good recipes I've found, my pictures, my favorite fruits and veggies that are in season, basically anything I feel like.
So anyway, tonight I made these really yummy Hawaiian Quesadillas. We had a ton of leftover pineapple and ham in our fridge, plus a ton of tortillas, so I thought, why not? When I first had the idea, I thought I was being really clever, like I was the first person to ever think of Hawaiian Quesadillas, ever. Well, I am not, and you can find Betty Crocker, Kraft, and Budget Bytes versions of my recipe.
All that I did was take
-ham, cut any way
-pineapple
-Mexican cheese
-red bell peppers, chopped
-tortillas
(for this recipe, you can use a pan, a toaster oven, or even a microwave, it's so easy)
Put the tortilla on a pan and warm it up. Add a layer of cheese, then a layer of ham, then pineapple, then peppers, them more cheese. Just heat until the cheese melts and ham is warm. Enjoy!
See, this is so easy, yet delicious and so healthy. It is perfect for lunch, dinner, snack, anything. And kids love it! Also, if anyone in your family has special dietary needs, it is really easily adapted. Mexican cheese can be made fat free cheese, and any other ingredients can be switched and swapped. So get cooking!
