Hike For Hope Registration Open

LIVERMORE, CA —Registration is open for the 2024 Hike for Hope, which will take place Saturday, May 4 at Del Valle Regional Park in Livermore. The hike is a large annual fundraiser for Hope Hospice and Health Services, which provides end-of-life care and support to patients and caregivers. Money raised will help provide grief support, dementia education, and family caregiver resources to the public at no extra charge. In 2023, over 1100 people helped raise $153,000, and 850 people walked, despite the rain.

The hike will be a 4.4-mile loop along the East Shore Trail, with an optional moderate loop on the Hetch Hetchy and Ridgeline trails that lead to a scenic overlook, or a 1.7-mile flat stroll along the East Shore. Hikers can also combine all three into a six-mile hike.

The hike starts at 8:30 a.m., and is followed by a barbecue lunch with raffle prizes and silent auction winners. Registration will be available the day of, but early-bird registration is available until April 5 for the following prices:
