Hike and Thrive with Kaiser Permanente
Join us for a special hike, led by our Hike and Thrive partner, Save Mount Diablo, this Sunday, November 1st.

Join us for a special hike, led by our Hike and Thrive partner, Save Mount Diablo, at Brushy Peak Regional Preserve on Sunday, November 1st at 9am.
Explore the gorgeous hills of the Tri-Valley at Brushy Peak Regional Preserve. Brushy Peak offers great opportunities for all types of outdoor exploration, including hiking, biking, running, dog walking and nature study.
A few items to note:
Wear hiking boots or sturdy walking shoes (no open toed shoes). Please bring snacks, water and sunscreen for the hike. There are restrooms and a picnic area at the staging area.

Dogs are welcome, but must remain on leash.
You do not need to be a Kaiser Permanente member to attend. Everyone is welcome.

Beginner hike:
3 miles
300 foot elevation gain/loss
2 hours
Intermediate hike:
6 miles
1000 foot elevation gain/loss
2.5 - 3 hours
Directions to Brushy Peak Regional Preserve:
From I-580 in Livermore: exit North Vasco Road and immediately turn right onto Northfront Road. After about .8 miles turn left onto Laughlin Road and proceed approximately two miles to the staging area at the end of Laughlin Road.
The Laughlin Ranch Staging Area is located at 3899 Laughlin Road in Livermore. Look for the Kaiser Permanente signs as you arrive.

Please email diablokp@kp.org with names and email addresses of those attending. This hike is on a first come first served basis, as space is limited, so reserve your spot soon! Please arrive by 8:30am to check-in and to ensure parking.
