Hiring in the City of Livermore:

This is a part-time entry level position in the circuit breaker workshop, training will be provided. Troubleshoot, inspect, test, and clean apparatus. Perform other assignments as needed including pick-up, delivery and shop clean up.

Duties and Responsibilities:

•             Understand client workscope and communicate and changes or clarifications.

•             Configure and setup circuit breaker to test equipment.

•             Perform mechanical and electrical accessory testing of circuit breakers to include operating and racking mechanisms, motor-operators, shunt trips, under-voltage release.

•             Conduct electrical testing of circuit breakers to include vacuum integrity, doctor, meggar, primary current injection, and secondary injection testing.

•             Obtain, compile, and record test data. Interpret test results and provide data to lead for review.

•             Follow standard practices and procedures for resolving basic to complex problems.

•             Pick-up and deliver to jobsite.

•             Daily shop and equipment cleanup, organization.

•             Perform duties in a manner compliant with prevailing quality procedures and policies.
