Hit-and-Run Hummer Causes Power Outage In Livermore
The Hummer was speeding and hit the curb on Springtown Boulevard, then struck a PG&E power pole and some fencing.
LIVERMORE, CA — A hit-and-run crash involving a white Hummer early Sunday morning remains under investigation in Livermore. The crash was reported around 12:53 a.m. at Springtown Boulevard and Lassen Road.
According to Livermore Police Department Sgt. Steve Goard, the Hummer was speeding and hit the curb on Springtown Boulevard, then struck a PG&E power pole and some fencing.
The crash impact knocked out electricity to residents and businesses in the area for a few hours, Goard said.

The Hummer fled the scene and has not been found. Anyone with information can call the Livermore Police Department at (925) 371-4900.
