I-580 Crash Victim’s Family Looking For Witnesses
BREAKING: The collision on eastbound I-580 was reported Thursday afternoon. The wreck totaled the bike, which had sentimental value.

LIVERMORE, CA — The family of a motorcycle rider who was injured in a collision on I-580 in Livermore last week is asking for help tracking down others who may have witnessed the crash. The rider was on a Harley Davidson that had great sentimental value when he was hit and his bike was totaled. The family says a good Samaritan who stopped to help him had a GoPro camera on his helmet so they know what happened after the wreck but not in the moments before.
The collision involving the motorcycle and a truck on eastbound I-580 west of Airway Boulevard was reported just after 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, according to the California Highway Patrol. The crash slowed commuter traffic to a crawl for several hours after.
