I-580 Severely Backed Up Amid 2 Crashes And Overturned Trailer

Drivers are advised to expect delays. Injuries were reported in one of the crashes.

LIVERMORE, CA — An overturned tractor trailer shut down two lanes of eastbound I-580, east of Livermore Monday morning.

Injuries were reported in the crash, the California Highway Patrol said. Drivers were advised to expect delays.

The crash was reported west of Grant Line Road, and the right and center lanes were shut down, CHP said. Traffic was backed up to Ulmar.

Another crash was reported on I-580 in Livermore, east of Greenville Road, CHP said. Drivers were advised to expect delays as the right shoulder was impacted.

Earlier Monday morning, CHP issued a traffic advisory to warn of high winds in the area.
