Injury Update from Saturday's I-580 Crash Near Livermore
A woman was severely hurt in the wreck near West Grant Line Road, while a passenger was uninjured, officials said. (Breaking)

LIVERMORE, CA – The Alameda County Fire Department updated its initial injury report stemming from a Saturday crash on eastbound Interstate 580 near Livermore.
An adult woman suffered life-threatening injuries and was flown to a nearby trauma center, while her passenger, a 7-year-old boy, was uninjured in the accident just east of West Grant Line Road and Jess Ranch Road shortly before 9:45 a.m., the agency said.
The original report stated both individuals were injured.

Alameda County Fire, along with the California Highway Patrol and the Tracy Fire Department, responded to the crash scene. The Cal Star rescue unit landed on the I-580/I-205 split, officials said.
