Las Positas College to Host FastPass Registration Event

From LPC: It may be spring, but fall is just around the corner and future Las Positas College (LPC) students are invited to participate in LPC's FastPass enrollment event this April.

Between 3 and 7 p.m. Monday, April 8 through Thursday, April 11, students wishing to enroll at LPC can receive help in completing their application and registration for future semesters. All sessions are on a first-come, first-served basis, and the event serves as a one-stop shop for gaining admission and preparing to attend LPC.

"FastPass is an opportunity for students to complete LPC's Six Steps to Success to become a student all in one place," said LPC Outreach Specialist Mike Alvarez. "Staff will be available for all Six Steps to assist students with any questions they may have."

Students will receive assistance with their admission and financial aid applications, complete assessment testing and a student educational plan, take LPC's online orientation and obtain priority registration for fall.

"The Six Steps to Success can usually take up to two weeks to complete," said Alvarez. "The FastPass event can assist students in completing all the steps within one to two days."

LPC has previously hosted FastPass events prior to every semester for the past two years, helping students take the steps needed to attend LPC and complete their certificate, associate degree or transfer program.
