Hawks head coach Andy Cumbo sees reason for optimism on both squads

Camryn Adams and Camille La Blanc each had two nice goals last week in the Hawks' 4-1 win over Cosumnes River, and gave the team some much needed support on offense.
"We’ll look to continue that this week while involving others as well," Las Positas coach Andy Cumbo said. "Our midfield also had more of the ball (against CR) and that’s a key area for us to establish as the season progresses.'

The Hawks dropped a 2-0 decision to Delta on Wednesday, a credible result against one of the state's best teams. The Hawks will play Feather River on Thursday.

The Hawks' Leo Barajas had two good games last week and although very young, the Hawks' backline is maturing rapidly.
"The goal over time is for them to solidly themselves on both sides of the ball," Cumbo says.
Adolfo Trujillo is slowly finding his form and Arnaud Mantuidi has been a strong leader for the team early on.
