Le Creuset Cooks Up Success
According to the store manager, shoppers fly-in to shop at the mall.

Serious foodies need serious cookware. In Livermore, that cookware can be found at the Le Creuset store at Livermore Premium Outlets.
The store is well-stocked with the company’s signature vibrant cookware and dishes in every shade of the rainbow, from red to aubergine.
The store also caters to the wine heritage of the Livermore Valley, with shatterproof wine glasses, wine cooler sleeves perfect for picnics, fancy openers that are so much more than a corkscrew, and wine pourer/aerators.
When asked about business, store manager Elizabeth Setlak-von Thury answers with an enthusiastic, “Great!”
And it’s not just local residents coming in to pick out heirloom pieces, “We get lots of travelers—people coming off the interstate. People popping off airplanes and coming in. I enjoy talking with people from all over.”
And those people hear about the virtues of Le Creuset. “It’s still made in France. Each piece is individually made in a sand cast mold. It’s cast iron with a porcelain enamel glaze.”
Le Creuset has expanded its cookware line beyond its signature pieces to include stainless steel, hard-anodized aluminum and other 21st century materials. Setlak-von Thury can explain which pans work on various cooktops.
