Listeria Recall: Sprouts Recalled After Positive FDA Test
Hold the sprouts! These have been recalled after they flunked FDA testing.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), during routine testing on Jack and the Beanstalk Soybean Sprouts, found Listeria monocytogenes, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems.
The distributor of the sprouts, Hanbit Enterprises, Inc., has ordered a recall of the Soybean Sprouts in 1 lb, 1.5 lb, 10 lb, and Natto plastic bags distributed thru February 12, 2015 with “Best if Used by” dates up to February 19, 2015.
The soybean sprouts were distributed to Bay Area stores and restaurants. Here are the specific codes:

No illnesses that have been reported to date.
If you have the sprouts in your fridge, return them to the store for a refund.
