Little League Intermediate World Series 2017 Returns To Livermore

LIVERMORE, CA — Little League fans from around the world will once again have their eyes focused on Livermore for the annual Little League Intermediate 50/70 World Series when it returns to Northern California later this month. The popular series, which will be played at Max Baer Park in Livermore, kicks off on July 30 and is scheduled through August 6. Opening Ceremonies will be held on July 29 at the Bankhead Theater at 4 p.m.

The Intermediate Division began as a two-year pilot program, before becoming an official division in 2012. Players ages 11-13 are eligible to play in this Intermediate baseball league, which features a 50-foot pitching distance and 70-foot bases, also known as “50/70”.

Max Baer Park is located at 1310 Murdell Lane in Livermore.
