Little League Intermediate World Series Thanks LARPD, Presents $22,000 Check

The Series brought hundreds to the Tri-Valley to watch the games at Max Baer Park's baseball fields.

At a regular meeting on Wednesday night, the Board of Directors for the Livermore Area Recreation and Park District received a special presentation from representatives of the Little League Intermediate World Series.

The Series representatives shared their thanks with the District for another successful year holding the event at Max Baer Park’s baseball fields. Representatives Dave Wetmore, Bill Aboumrad, and Kathleen Minser presented a $22,000 check to the District from advertising revenue from the new state-of-the-art scoreboard the District bought and installed at the field.
