Livermore Brewery Opens Outdoor Beer Garden
With umbrellas and six feet of distancing, Eight Bridges Brewing is still pouring up pints to customers.
LIVERMORE, CA — A Livermore brewery has taken its pours outdoors in a recently opened shaded beer garden, set up to accommodate social distancing.
Though Eight Bridges Brewing closed its doors to the public earlier in the pandemic, it transformed into a food bank for its out-of-work restaurant employees in need of a helping hand, said Katy Cook of the brewery in an email. But now that the restaurant has reopened and workers are back at it, the brewery is also offering outdoor dining and take-out.
The beer garden tends to have at least 10 beers on tap, with tasters, growlers and crowlers available, according to the Eight Bridges Brewing site.
