Livermore Expands, Extends Eviction Moratorium
Livermore's latest order expands tenant protections during the new coronavirus pandemic.

LIVERMORE, CA — The City of Livermore has issued another eviction moratorium that goes further to protect residential tenants until a month after the new coronavirus emergency ends.
The new order was signed Tuesday by city Emergency Services Director Marc Roberts and will expire June 30.
It follows in the footsteps of the Alameda County Board of Supervisors and bans residential evictions for virtually any reason up to 30 days after the end of the local health emergency order. Residential tenants who can't pay rent as a result of the pandemic are protected from eviction through May 31.
