Livermore Farmers Market Reopened Under New Ownership

Foragers Market, which operates the farmers market in San Ramon, will now run the Thursday and Sunday markets.

LIVERMORE, CA — Livermore's farmers market has reopened this month under new ownership.

The Livermore Downtown Farmers Markets is now operated by Foragers Market, which also runs the farmers market in San Ramon. Livermore's market will be open Thursdays from 4 to 8 p.m. at Carnegie Park and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. along Second Street.

The farmers market was briefly on hiatus in June after its newly hired manager, California Farmers' Markets Association, resigned after a controversial video went viral.

Hayden later apologized and said her remarks were taken out of context. The flags began to pose a safety threat because kids were playing with them, treating them like swords, she said.
