Livermore Fusion Soccer Players Get a Taste of College Ball

California State University East Bay recently invited the Livermore Fusion Soccer Club to their match against the University of San Diego. Over 50 youth soccer players accepted the invitation and were ecstatic to sit on the sideline during warm ups, greet the players with a "high five" and shoot on goal during half time. The post-game meet and greet with autographs really was the icing on the cake.
Several former Livermore Fusion Soccer players now represent CSUEB and UCSD. They include Suzanne Bateson of CSUEB and Kylie Hill, Marissa Scheid, and Kylee Southwell of UC San Diego.

It was great for the Livermore Fusion players to feel such a close connection. Livermore Fusion SC is in full support of making the college connection for their players at the earliest age possible. It's great to see the community outreach. Livermore Fusion SC appreciates the continued support of the community and looks forward to many more players joining the ranks of their past youth players at the college level.
