From LVJUSD: On Wednesday, April 17, Livermore High School (LHS) senior Ashley Porter signed a letter of intent to attend Purdue University in fall 2019 to study Agriculture. This was a rare opportunity to recognize a student’s commitment to higher education in an academic capacity, as college signings have typically been events recognizing college commitments by student-athletes. Porter’s signing was celebrated by her peers, family, teachers, and the LHS administration in the school’s Agriculture classroom. The Agriculture Program at LHS is the only one of its kind in Alameda County. The school is proud to offer its students a one-of-a-kind education and experience in that field. Congratulations to Ashley for her achievement and dedication to her continued education!
