Livermore Launches $2M Small Business Grant Program

The grants seek to help small businesses adapt to new circumstances with grants from $2,000 to $20,000, the city announced Monday.

LIVERMORE, CA — Livermore has launched its $2 million Small Business Assistance Grant Program to help business owners stay afloat and remain competitive during the pandemic.

The program will help cover up to half of the cost of equipment or services needed for a business to adapt to the current climate, the city said in a news release. Grants from $2,000 to $20,000 will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Businesses may apply here if they maintain an active city of Livermore business license in good standing and can show proof of insurance covering business operations, the city said. The business must employ at least two people, earn no more than $10 million each year and provide at least half of their business from a Livermore location or to a Livermore customer.
