Livermore Man Accused Of ID Theft In Soquel

Officials said residents called the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office after they spotted the man "acting suspiciously" in a neighborhood.

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — A Livermore man was arrested on Friday on suspicion of identity theft, the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office said. Neighbors alerted deputies to 22-year-old Devin Thomas, after they told the sheriff’s office he was “acting suspiciously in a Soquel neighborhood.”

Thomas, who is on probation, was in possession of stolen property when deputies contacted him, according to the sheriff’s office. Thomas was booked into the Santa Cruz County Jail.
