Livermore Man Pinned Under Car Rescued By LPFD Firefighters

The victim, who was working on his car at the time of the accident, was rushed to Eden Medical Center for treatment.

LIVERMORE, CA — A Livermore man suffered major injuries after the car he was working on pinned him to the ground Wednesday afternoon, fire officials said. The incident was reported by neighbor as a traffic collision on Elm Street in Livermore.

The man was working underneath his car midday when somehow it lurched forward, pinning him under the transmission. Livermore-Pleasanton Fire crews had to use a special high-lift jack in order to safely rescue the man. He was rushed to Eden Medical Center for treatment.
