30-Something Livermore Man Fatally Struck On Mines Road

A Livermore man in his 30s died after he was hit by an SUV trying to turn left onto Shirley Way, according to Livermore police.

LIVERMORE, CA — A Livermore motorcyclist in his 30s died Tuesday afternoon in a collision on North Mines Road, Livermore police said in a news release.

The man, whose name will be released pending notification of next of kin, was traveling northbound on North Mines Road just before 4:50 pm, police said. A red Honda CR-V traveling southbound was making a left turn onto Shirley Way when it collided with the motorcycle.
