Livermore In-N-Out Burger Diners Sickened; Restaurant Temporarily Closed For Investigation, Cleaning
A company spokesperson says In-N-Out has thoroughly disinfected the entire facility and screened their staff.

LIVERMORE, CA — In-N-Out Burger voluntarily closed this week after nine customers traveling together complained of flu-like symptoms after dining at the Livermore location, the company confirmed Wednesday. In-N-Out Burger VP of Operations Denny Warnick said the restaurant started an investigation and notified the Alameda County Department of Environmental Health in accordance with their safety protocols.
“Our investigation did not turn up any indication that there were any issues at our restaurant," Warnick said in an email. "Nevertheless, we thoroughly cleaned and disinfected the entire facility and screened our staff of Associates. We are confident that our customers are safe to dine with us and will re-open once the health department completes their assessment.
“Here at In-N-Out Burger, the health and well-being of our customers and our associates is a top priority. We apologize for any inconvenience this closure may cause for our customers and we will re-open our Livermore restaurant once we are certain that there are no issues there.”
