Livermore Phantom Lacrosse Club Hosting Season Opener Friday Night

Interested players, parents and the community are invited to watch and meet and speak with the coaches.

LIVERMORE CA - Livermore Phantom Lacrosse Club is holding its season opening game Friday, Feb 26 at 7 p.m. at Cayatano Park at Portola Avenue at Campus Hill Drive in Livermore.

The game marks the start of the youth lacrosse season for the Phantoms clubs, made up of nine teams and about 150 players. The age levels range from ages 9 to 15 for both male and female players.

“We want to invite everyone who has never seen a lacrosse game,” said Greg Herweg, president of the Phantoms club. “It’s a great sport and we welcome any parent or youth to come out and watch a game of lacrosse.”

What will be unique to this event is the opportunity for parents and youth to talk the coaches and players after the game, he said.
