Announcement information, photo courtesy the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Facebook page:
Congratulations to Captain Peter Richert and Firefighter Paramedic Greg Huver on their Tri-Valley YMCA MLK Legacy Award that they received today at the annual breakfast. Their tireless efforts managing the Toys For Tots program places around 20,000 new toys each holiday season in the hands of children that may otherwise not have received any.
Most of the LPFD Firefighters help each year, but Peter and Greg have shown unparalleled leadership and dedication to this program for over a decade. Congrats Peter and Greg for a much deserved recognition of your hard work!
