Livermore Police Department’s Holiday Giving Tree Program Will Benefit Families, Seniors

The Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association has hosted the event for 14 years.

LIVERMORE, CA — The East Bay community is invited to donate to Livermore Police Department’s annual Holiday Giving Tree fundraiser. The popular program, which will benefit Livermore families and seniors in need, runs through December 7. The tags on the tree represent the wishes and needs of the residents selected for the program.

“The community is encouraged to come to the Police Station, select a tag from the tree, and purchase the item(s) on the tag,” police said via social media. “Bring the unwrapped item(s) to the Police Station and place them in the large ‘chimney’ box in the lobby with the tag attached. There is also a secured mail box attached to the chimney display for gift cards.”

The Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association has hosted the event for 14 years and present the gifts to the families as the holidays near. The Giving Tree will be in the lobby of the Livermore Police Department, which is located at 1110 S. Livermore Avenue.
