Livermore Police Hold Special Olympics Fundraiser

LIVERMORE, CA - The Livermore Police Department is holding a fundraiser to help local athletes participate in the Special Olympics in January.

The LPD’s “Tip A Cop” fundraiser will raise money so that local athletes can compete in the Special Olympics in Orlando. Athletes play multiple sports, and each sport can cost $250 for practice time, uniforms, housing and more. All tips raised at the fundraiser will go toward those costs.

The fundraiser will take place on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the Zephyr Grill & Bar on 1736 1st Street in Livermore.
