Livermore Police Host Annual ‘Trick or Treat with Cops’
Reserve police officers will patrol streets on Halloween looking for little ghouls and goblins to treat.
LIVERMORE, CA — Two reserve police officers will patrol streets of Livermore looking for trick or treaters on Halloween night. Reserve officers Sheryl Long and Don Swanson, who will hit the streets at 4 p.m., will be in the department’s classic 1954 Chevy police vehicle handing out candy, stickers and treats and hoping to snap photos with little ghouls and goblins.
Long and Swanson will be out late into the night or until the candy runs out. This is the third year the department has hosted the popular program, which was developed by Long and Swanson.
