Livermore Police Welcomes New K9 Officer
Scout is from Slovakia and will patrol the streets of Livermore once he passes his training.
Livermore Police officials announced the newest member of the force via Nixle Alert this week.
Police K9 officer Chris Thompson picked up “Scout” today. Scout flew in from Slovakia and was born in July 2014. Scout weighs 55 lbs. Scout and Officer Thompson will spend some time getting to know each other before beginning a rigorous five week trying program. Once Scout passes the training he will begin patrolling Livermore on duty with Officer Thompson. Welcome Scout!
