At its San Francisco studios, Personal Training and Partner Training memberships include unlimited DEXA body-composition scans and VO2 max testing — diagnostics usually sold one scan at a time or reserved for specialized clinics. Custom Fit members can test as often as they train. The reasoning is straightforward. A DEXA scan measures fat, lean muscle, and bone density with clinical precision. A VO2 max test measures the body's maximum oxygen uptake, one of the strongest predictors of cardiovascular fitness and long-term health. Kiddie Academy of Livermore will host Hero Play Day on Friday, July 31 at 5 p.m. for infants to 12-year-olds. Families are invited to attend this free community event designed to help children recognize and celebrate their personal heroes.

The new hands-on event will be an opportunity for children to dress up as their favorite superhero and participate in “training” stations set up around the Academy, including obstacle courses, strength tests and kindness missions.

A summer afternoon under a big tent with some two dozen sparkling wines from around the world! This is one of PRIMA's favorite traditions, now making its Danville debut.
We’ll be pouring Champagne from Alexandra Sainz (who is a dear friend and will be joining us in person), Delamotte, Drappier, and Egly-Ouriet alongside distinctive bubbles from Franciacorta, Etna, Le Marche, Umbria, South Africa, England, Austria, Burgundy, Germany, and beyond. There will be very special event pricing to encourage stocking up on your favorites of the day.

To make it even better, indulge in delectable cheese pairings handpicked by Brandon Wood, professional Cheese Expert, from The Cheese Parlor. 2024 Petit Verdot paired with Postel Belgian Washed Rind Gouda A Belgian cow's milk cheese with a washed rind and aged Gouda character. Firm and smooth, with savory depth, caramel sweetness, and a lingering nutty richness.
2024 Petite Sirah paired with Brabander Goat Gouda A Dutch goat's milk cheese aged over 8 months. Bright and creamy, with a clean tang, notes of caramel and toffee, and a smooth, mellow finish.
2022 "Big Wood" Zinfandel paired with Alter Fritz Alpine Cheese A German-style Alpine cow's milk cheese, mountain-aged and firm. Nutty and full-bodied, with savory richness, hints of sweet cream, and a smooth, satisfying finish.
2022 "Muy Bueno" Zinfandel paired with Red Rock Cheddar An American cow's milk cheddar with marbled blue veining. Bold and crumbly, with sharp cheddar tang, earthy blue notes, and a rich, savory finish.
This release party is open to both members and non-members. Tickets are priced at $10 for Club Members and their guests, and $30 for Non-Club Members. Additionally, $10 will be refunded for every bottle purchased, up to the price of admission. We hope to see you there!
