Livermore Private Schools Receive Bomb Threat: LPD

LIVERMORE, CA — Two Livermore private schools received bomb threats Friday that were later deemed not credible, according to the Livermore Police Department.

Our Savior Lutheran School and Valley Montessori School both received a mass email containing a bomb threat at around 8:30 a.m. Friday, department spokesperson Azenith Smith told Patch.

“On Friday morning, a mass email was sent regarding a bomb threat targeting two Livermore private schools. As a precaution, the schools took action and the police department assisted. There is no known threat,” the department said in a statement.

Many other schools received the email. Our Savior Principal Julie Knight told CBS News that the school called police immediately and evacuated the school, but a search did not turn up any suspicious devices. Patch reached out to Our Savior and Valley Montessori for further information.
