Livermore Restaurant Recognized As One Of Best In Bay Area

The Mercury News named this "quintessential wine country restaurant" as one of the best in the Bay.

LIVERMORE, CA —Range Life, a farm-to-table restaurant on 2160 Railroad Avenue Downtown Livermore, was the only Tri-Valley restaurant to be included in the Mercury News' list of 50 best Bay Area restaurants.

The rustic yet elegant restaurant from chef Bill Niles not only boasts "seasonal, farm-driven dishes that come to life when paired with zippy wines," according to the review. Located in a 19th century brick building with a 100-year-old tree on the patio and a colorful mural replete with Livermore imagery, the atmosphere, like its wine list, gives a "real sense of place."

The reviewer highlighted the menu's Klingeman ham chop, chopped salad and roasted chicken with eggplant, pear, onion and stracciatella.
