The casual fast food eatery opens this week in the Tri-Valley.
LIVERMORE, CA: The wait is over. Rubio’s fanatics can finally get their fish taco fix without having to leave the Tri-Valley.
The casual fast food eatery, located at 2002 Portola Avenue, Suite J in Livermore, opens on May 19 and is offering $50 Rubio’s gift cards to the first fifty guests at the Livermore location on opening day between 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. A Rubio's spokesperson said the gift cards will be given out on a first come, first served basis.
"Since opening the first Rubio’s restaurant in San Diego more than 30 years ago, our reputation for delicious coastal cuisine has spread across the nation, and our following of loyal fans throughout California has continued to grow," founder Ralph Rubio told Patch. "We’re excited to introduce Rubio’s to Livermore, and look forward to seeing how the community responds to our chef-crafted menu and coastal interior decor.”
