Livermore Sees Vegetation Fire Amid Heavy Winds

LIVERMORE, CA — A vegetation fire was reported in Livermore shortly after 2:30 p.m. Friday.

The fire was in the area of I-580, between N. Livermore Avenue and First Street, according to the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department.

California Highway Patrol advised the on-ramp at N. Livermore Avenue was blocked and drivers should expect delays.

CHP also reported a nearby traffic collision on eastbound I-580, east of N. Livermore Avenue.

Meanwhile, in Tracy, CHP advised drivers to expect delays after a grass fire shut down an on-ramp to I-205 at W. Grant Line Road.
