Livermore Valley Wineries Accepting Donations To Help Napa, Sonoma Winegrowers

The devastating wildfires have destroyed at least four Napa Valley wineries during harvest season.

LIVERMORE, CA — Livermore Valley wineries are rallying to help their fellow Napa and Sonoma vintners after the devastating wildfires have destroyed at least four Napa Valley wineries during harvest season. The Livermore wineries will accept cash, check and gift card donations in the winery tasting rooms through October 15. Checks can be made out to the Napa Valley Community Foundation’s Disaster Relief Fund and the Community Foundation of Sonoma County’s Resilience Fund.

Eight of Livermore’s wineries will also donate a portion of their proceeds this weekend, according to the Livermore Valley Winegrowers Association. Those interested in donating can check the list of participating wineries here.

"It is too early to estimate the economic impact of the fires on the Napa Valley wine industry," according to a statement Tuesday from Napa Valley Vintners, the nonprofit trade association made up of 550 members within iconic Napa wine country.
