The fire prompted a full evacuation of the building.

LIVERMORE, CA — Wendy’s in Livermore will soon reopen after a kitchen fire inside the fast food restaurant prompted a full evacuation of the building Monday afternoon. The blaze was reported at 1051 Airway Blvd. at about 2:40 p.m.
“Crews took a hose line to the interior and found a cooktop on fire,” fire officials said.
Fire officials said the damage was contained to the cooktop and surrounding areas of the kitchen and some of the smoke spread to the convenience store in the building.
