Livermore Wines Win 168 Medals In Chronicle Competition
Nine Livermore wines won Best of Class in the San Francisco Chronicle's 2022 Wine Competition.
LIVERMORE, CA — Livermore Valley vineyards made the grade in the 2022 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition. This year, the Chronicle evaluated 5,816 wines from nearly 1,000 different wineries.
Livermore wineries won a total of 168 medals, according to a report from the Livermore Valley Wine Country association. Livermore won:
- 9 Best of Class
- 11 double gold
- 37 gold
- 89 silver
- 22 bronze
