Livermore Woman's Gold Bracelet Stolen During Prayer
Police say a woman in a car asked a Livermore woman to pray with her, then took her bracelet off her wrist.
LIVERMORE, CA — A woman's gold bracelet was stolen after two men asked her to pray with them, according to the Livermore Police Department.
On Sunday afternoon, a woman in a car asked a 65-year-old woman from Livermore to pray with her, according to the Livermore Police Department. While the woman was praying, the victim allegedly held her hands, stole her gold bracelet, and slipped on a replica gold bracelet. After the woman drove off, the victim noticed that her real gold bracelet was missing.
Officers located the suspect vehicle near the 4000 block of Las Positas Road, police said. Cristina Dinu, 24, of Baltimore, was arrested on charges of grand theft, while the driver, 29-year-old Fernando Miclescu, was also arrested.
