Livermore's Iconic Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch Announces 2021 Dates

LIVERMORE, CA — G&M Farms in Livermore, an East Bay, standout pumpkin patch and corn maze, has issued a cornfield greeting to its fans: "Welcome back!"

It's going to be an October 2021 pumpkin-palooza, with the return of the pumpkin patch, kiddie-friendly, straw-bale maze, cornbox, cow train, pony rides and pedal carts, along with the legendary corn maze — inscribed in the cornfield this year with a big, ol' "Welcome Back" message.

The Halloween tradition and family operation on East Airway Boulevard scrapped normal operations in 2020, due to pandemic-related restrictions, swiveling instead to a pumpkin drive-thru.

G&M Farms' corn maze, featured twice on the David Letterman Show, according to organizers, won't disappoint this year with its 6-acre comeback of good old-fashioned family fun.

And if getting lost in a cornfield isn't enough, haunted sessions are planned, but dates and times are still in the works, G&M said. (Check the farm's website for updates.)

G&M will be open Oct. 1 to 31, closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

Hours for the pumpkin patch: Wednesdays through Fridays: 3 p.m. - 6 p.m.; and Saturdays & Sundays: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

For the corn maze: Wednesdays-Thursdays: 3 p.m. - 8 p.m.; Fridays: 3 p.m. - 9 p.m.; Saturdays: 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.; and Sundays: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
