Man With Meth, Ammo, Pepper Spray, & Stolen Debit Cards Arrested In Livermore: Police
Livermore police arrested a 63-year-old man on drugs and weapons charges, and helped seize a car involved in a high-speed chase.
LIVERMORE, CA — Livermore police arrested a man on drugs and weapons charges, and seized a car involved in a high-speed chase.
On Friday at 10 p.m., police attempted a traffic stop on a 2003 Infiniti G35 for a mechanical violation, according to the Livermore Police Department. The car fled at a high rate of speed while reportedly committing multiple driving violations. Police appear to have abandoned the chase due to safety concerns. On Saturday, Pleasanton police located the unoccupied car and seized.
On Sunday, Livermore officers contacted a 63-year-old man at a recycling center on Old First Street who reportedly had an outstanding warrant related to drug charges. Officers allegedly found methamphetamine, ammunition, pepper spray, and debit cards belonging to other individuals during a search. He was booked into Santa Rita Jail on possession and weapons charges.
