Man Robbed Outside Livermore Wells Fargo, 2 Suspects Detained

Two suspects are accused of robbing a man outside the bank on K Street. This marks the city's second bank robbery in just over a week.

LIVERMORE, CA — Two suspects have been arrested in connection with a robbery outside of the Wells Fargo bank on K Street, Livermore police said.

At about 11:30 a.m., police responded to a report of a man who was robbed of cash as he walked outside of the bank. Shortly after, police found a vehicle matching the description of the suspect’s car in the Bank of America parking lot on Railroad Avenue, where police say a similar robbery occurred on Thursday, April 13.

Police arrested 18-year-old Derrick Rose Jr. of Antioch and 20-year-old Rajanae Bynum of Antioch, who were identified as being involved in the robbery at Wells Fargo. Police are investigating if they are related to the April 13 robbery at Bank of America.

Both suspects were booked at Santa Rita Jail and are facing robbery and conspiracy charges.
