On November 8th, 2014, Darcio Lira Martial Arts will hold its Grand Opening celebration in Livermore, California.. To help celebrate we have invited some of the most talented martial artists in the world to conduct a seminar to benefit Autism Speaks. This event is open to the public and donations are appreciated on-line or in person.
1 in 68 children are diagnosed with Autism. Because of this statistic I’ve created a martial arts class for kids with special needs, Breaking Barriers. This program has been fantastic and this event will showcase Breaking Barriers while giving back to the community. This event is for kids and adults and is open to the community including other martial art schools.

The event will be from 10:00 to 5:00 and will change instructors and curriculum on the hour. You will be able to train in many different martial arts including MMA with UFC fighter Michael McDonald. Other instructors include UFC veteran Carlos Rocha, BJJ World Champion Sergio Silva, Steven Seagal black belt Jaime Calderon, Pedro Sauer black belt Eddie Edmunds, Kajukenbo legend Ron Esteller and many others.
