Max Baer Park Scoreboard Ads Bring In $66,000 In 5 Years, Park District Says
The cost of the scoreboard has now been fully reimbursed, according to park district officials.

LIVERMORE, CA — The Little League Intermediate World Series representatives gave the Board of Directors for the Livermore Area Recreation and Park District a check for $7,000 during the October 11th meeting. The money was generated through advertising revenue during the 2017 Series, which is held each year at Max Baer Park in Livermore.
“The scoreboard, which LARPD put in, has brought in $66,000 over the last five years,” park district officials said in a statement. “Advertising revenue has now completely reimbursed the cost of the scoreboard, plus additional revenue will go toward supporting the park as a whole.”
Series representatives Dave Wetmore, Bill Aboumrad and Kathleen Minser thanked the board for the use of the park.
