Memorial Services Scheduled for Livermore Teen Killed on I-580
Andrew Kling will be remembered on Feb. 21

The Livermore community will gather this week to remember a Granada High graduate killed in a car crash earlier this month. Andrew Kling, 19, died on Feb. 6 when his pickup truck crashed into a pillar on Grant Line Road near I-580, roughly 10 miles east of Livermore.
According to Granada High school officials, a memorial service for Kling will be held on Feb. 21 at 3 p.m. at the Celebration Christian Center in Livermore.

Following news of his death, the community has rallied to support Kling’s family by starting a GoFundMe page. In ten days, the fund has garnered over $20,000 in donations to help cover the costs of Kling’s funeral services. A Facebook page in honor of Kling was created to share memories of the teen beloved in the Livermore community.
According to Twitter, Granada High school students held a candlelight vigil on Feb. 7 in honor of Kling, who was a 2014 graduate.
The Celebration Christian Center is located at 1135 Bluebell Drive.
