Mony Nop Turkey Drop Scheduled For Sunday At Livermore City Hall

Donate a frozen turkey, gift card, or cash to families in need through mayoral candidate Mony Nop's annual giving program.

LIVERMORE, CA — Donate to families in need this Thanksgiving by taking part in the 7th annual Mony Nop Turkey Drop, which donates frozen turkeys, gift cards and cash to local families in need through Tri-Valley Haven. This year, Tri-Valley Haven anticipates serving over 800 local families.

“I heard about the Tri-Valley Haven running out of turkeys for families in needs in our
community. Growing up very poor, I know how difficult it was to go to bed hungry. I wanted to
help to ensure that every family would receive a turkey,” said Mony Nop, a realtor and Livermore mayoral candidate who grew up in war-torn Cambodia. “With the support of the tri-valley community, families will be able to celebrate the holidays too. Any donation is greatly appreciated.”

Donations of frozen turkeys, gift cards, and cash can be given throughout the month of November at the Livermore Grocery Outlet at 1320 Railroad Avenue. The official drop will take place on Sunday, Nov. 20 from 10-2 in front of Livermore City Hall.
