Moonlight & Roses: Livermore Painting Of The Day

LIVERMORE, CA — Livermore resident Kathleen Hill started drawing horses in the second grade, and never looked back. Since then, she’s drawn horses, birds, and wildlife in a variety of mediums.

She submitted a photo of a 24x36 oil painting she created of her daughter’s horse, Moonlight and Roses, nicknamed Sophia.

“She is full of personality and she usually gives a big horsey smile when she sees a camera!” Hill told Patch.
