Isabel Avenue Re-Opens Following Motorcycle Fatality
A portion of northbound Isabel Avenue closed Wednesday following a fatal collision between a car and a motorcyclist.

LIVERMORE, CA — Northbound traffic on Isabel Avenue is reopened as of 11:15 a.m. following a lengthy closure, Livermore police said. The road was closed from Jack London Boulevard to I-580 for several hours following a motorcycle fatality early Wednesday morning.
The motorcyclist was struck by a vehicle at around 5:30 a.m. Wednesday near the intersection of Isabel Avenue and Airway Boulevard, police said. The motorcyclist, whose name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin, was pronounced dead on the scene. The cause of the collision is currently unknown and under investigation. Police interviewed the driver, whom they said stayed on scene and cooperated.
