Motorcyclist Killed On Altamont Pass Road: CHP

ALAMEDA COUNTY, CA — A motorcyclist was killed during a collision on Altamont Pass Road in Alameda County this morning, the California Highway Patrol said. The crash, which involved the motorcyclist and an SUV, was reported in the area of Altamont Pass Road at Carroll Road just after 6:30 a.m.

The motorcyclist, whose name has not yet been released, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the CHP. Alameda County Fire Department crews responded to assist. The CHP issued a Sig-alert following the crash, which has since been lifted. No other information is available.
