Motorcyclist Killed Near Altamont Pass: CHP
The motorcyclist crashed and was then hit by a Honda Civic, according to initial reports.
LIVERMORE, CA — A motorcyclist was killed Saturday night in eastern Alameda County, the California Highway Patrol confirmed.
At around 9:20 p.m., CHP received reports of a crash at Mountain House Road near West Line Road, toward the border with San Joaquin County. The motorcyclist was subsequently struck by a white Honda Civic. CHP officers arrived at 9:41 p.m., and found a driver ejected from the motorcycle, who was pronounced dead on scene. No identity was released.

The fatality was one of four that occurred around the Tri-Valley over the weekend.
